Information we collect

We collect the identity supplied through secure sign-in, account profile information, launch-intake answers, business records, progress, documents, customer offers, booking activity, and messages you choose to submit.

How we use it

We use your information to create and operate your OWNWORK account, personalize recommendations, save progress, provide requested features, protect the service, communicate with you, and understand how OWNWORK can be improved.

Automated recommendations

OWNWORK may use software-generated analysis to organize answers, compare business models, identify missing evidence, create planning materials, and suggest next actions. These results are decision-support tools, not determinations of legal status, professional eligibility, creditworthiness, employment suitability, guaranteed demand, or likely income. Owners may reject, revise, retake, or stop a recommended path. The Trust & Proof Center explains how evidence and uncertainty are labeled.

Product measurement

OWNWORK records limited product events—such as completing an intake, selecting a business, starting validation, publishing an offer, or beginning checkout—to understand where owners succeed or become stuck. Event records are designed to measure the journey and are not used to sell personal information or create advertising profiles.

Marketing choices

Marketing communication is optional. Operational messages needed to provide or secure your account may still be sent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information or customer leads. Information may be processed by service providers needed to host, authenticate, secure, analyze, accept payments, or deliver OWNWORK; shared with a reviewer only when you submit or authorize a review; or disclosed when legally required.

Payments

Stripe processes payment-card information. OWNWORK receives payment status, transaction references, customer identifiers, subscription details, and related records needed to provide access and support. OWNWORK does not store full payment-card numbers.

Retention and control

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, payment, legal, and operational purposes. Signed-in owners may request a portable copy of their information or verified account deletion through Owner Support. Some payment, fraud-prevention, legal, consent, and security records may be retained when deletion is requested.

Security

OWNWORK uses authenticated access and account-level ownership checks. No online service can promise absolute security, and users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

Sensitive information

Do not submit passwords, full payment-card data, Social Security numbers, health information, privileged communications, or unnecessary employee or customer-identifying information. OWNWORK tools identify additional boundaries where appropriate.

Children

OWNWORK is designed for adults establishing and operating businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek their personal information.

Questions and requests

Privacy questions, export requests, and deletion requests can be recorded and tracked through Owner Support.

Material policy changes will be dated and communicated when required.
