OWNWORK

Account terms

Terms of Use

Effective July 28, 2026 · Founding beta

Purpose

OWNWORK provides guided business planning, organizational tools, educational information, and software-generated launch materials. It does not guarantee business formation, licensing approval, customers, revenue, or profitability.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in account secure, providing accurate information, and reviewing the records and recommendations saved in your workspace. You may not use another person’s identity or account without authorization.

Professional advice

OWNWORK is not a law firm, accounting firm, government agency, insurer, or licensed professional adviser. Software-generated legal, tax, financial, licensing, insurance, employment, and regulatory information is educational and must be verified with current official sources or a qualified professional before reliance.

Professional Review Network

Peer discussion is not professional advice. A professional review is limited to its stated question, reviewer capacity, scope, jurisdiction, and written limitations. OWNWORK profile review is not a guarantee of competence, results, continuing license status, or suitability for every matter. Participation or assignment does not automatically create an attorney-client, accountant-client, insurance, employment, or other regulated professional relationship. Separate terms and fees may be required directly with the professional.

Recommendations, scores, and evidence

Scores describe profile alignment, readiness, or directional evidence based on available information. They are not probabilities of success. Public research, owner-provided information, customer statements, commitments, and payments have different evidentiary value and may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or unavailable. Users must review assumptions and verify consequential decisions before reliance. The Trust & Proof Center explains the product standard in plain language but does not replace these Terms.

Your materials

You retain responsibility for information and materials you provide. You grant OWNWORK permission to process that information only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Acceptable use

You may not use OWNWORK to mislead customers, violate law, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with the service, or submit harmful or fraudulent content.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Current prices and included features appear on the Pricing and Billing pages before checkout. Subscription plans continue until canceled and may be managed through Stripe. Cancellation prevents future renewal but normally leaves access active through the paid period. One-time programs, refunds, duplicate charges, and payment reviews are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy and any rights required by law.

Customer transactions

Business owners—not OWNWORK—are responsible for their offers, customer communications, service delivery, pricing, taxes, refunds, safety, licensing, insurance, and legal obligations. OWNWORK may provide software for requests, quotes, deposits, records, and controlled matching without becoming the seller or service provider.

Availability and changes

OWNWORK may change, suspend, or discontinue features, particularly during the founding beta. We will use reasonable efforts to preserve owner records and communicate material changes, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended for fraud, unlawful use, threats to users or the service, nonpayment, or material violation of these terms. You may request account deletion through Owner Support, subject to identity verification and limited retention required for security, payment, legal, and operational records.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without limiting consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Founding-release changes

Features and terms may change as the founding release is tested. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect when required.

Questions about these terms, billing, or your records can be submitted through Owner Support.
